How do the personal meal deliveries work?

Each week we post a new exciting menu online. You simply review our weekly offerings, place your order and wait for our friendly staff to deliver to your door. It's that easy!

How will I receive my deliveries?

One of our staff members will deliver your weekly meals to the address you provided upon ordering. All deliveries are made contact-free unless prior arrangements are made.

How often are my meals delivered?

Meals are delivered once a week on either a Wednesday or Thursday depending on location. Delivery arrangements are made when your order is placed.

Do I tip my delivery person?

We encourage it! Our delivery professionals go the extra mile to be sure your meals are delivered to you in a safe and timely manner. Feel free to show them your appreciation! Note: You can include the tip with your meal payment or when delivery is made.

To what areas do you offer free delivery?

We offer free delivery to Frederick and Washington County addresses.

Can I do curbside pickup?

Absolutely! Arrangements can be

text or call (240) 446-4038. Pickup is at our commercial facility located at 285 Montevue Lane, Frederick, MD 21702.

Who do I contact if I have an issue with my meal or delivery?

While we hope that you never find yourself disappointed by our service, owner Cheri Thompson is personally available to you via email thesavoryspooncatering@gmail.com, text or call (240) 446-4038.

How do I see the new menu for the week?

Menus are updated and announced each week on Thursday morning. You can check our website, Facebook page (link to FB page) or sign up for our email newsletter (link to sign up) to receive announcements.

Can I purchase a month service at one time?

We do offer the option to sign up for a month of service at time. If you would like to make arrangements for a longer-term service please email us at thesavoryspooncatering@gmail.com, text or call (240) 446-4038.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Some minor adjustments can be made to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please contact us directly at (thesavoryspooncatering@gmail.com (240) 446-4038) prior to ordering for more information.

Do I have to place an order every week?

No. You are not committed to ordering each week consecutively.

Weekly and family meals are served fresh for easy reheating in a conventional oven or microwave. A la Cart “finishing touches” pasta and soups may be frozen. (Items will be noted.)

Cooking instructions are provided with each week’s meal delivery according to the needs of each menu item.

We accept all major U.S. credit and debit cards as well as via PayPal and Venmo.

Can the food be frozen for a later date?

Our menus are prepared with the intention of the food being eaten within a five day period. For optimal quality, freezing is not recommended.

Do you offer private catering, office or boxed lunches?
